To pay kindness forward and invest in the future generation of front-line healthcare workers, ANOTHER ACT OF KINDNESS will award two scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year.  One$5000 scholarship will be awarded to a returning nursing student, and two $1500 renewal emergingnursing scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior entering a nursing program. These scholarships may be used for educational expenses. 

Eligibility requirements Nursing Scholarship: 

• Resident of Ohio or attending a College/University in Ohio

• Current nursing student in good standing

Eligibility Requirements for Emerging Nursing Scholarship:

• Resident of Ohio or attending a College/University in Ohio

• Current high school senior planning to enroll in college in fall of 2026 with plan to work toward a nursing degree

Application Requirements: 

• Official Transcript

• References: Two from teachers or professors who can speak to classroom performance and contributions AND one from a community member who can speak to character and service.

• Four essays (250-500 words each)

Applications for 2027-2028 school year will be posted January 1, 2027.
